According to the Office of the Director of Operations, Eastern Region Railways, due to the continuous heavy rains, the soil under the railway lines in various sections of the eastern region has shifted and bent. Due to heavy rains, DEN-1 (Chittagong) has requested to stop the operation of trains. The soil, stones and sleepers under the Fazilpur-Kalidah section have been moved, and the railway line has bent. The Chittagong-Nazirhat-Dohajali-Cox’s Bazar section has also bent due to soil movement. Underline and line bending are informed.
