June 4, 2024 – The Embassy of Japan in Palau is pleased to announce that it will host a small photo exhibition to celebrate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Palau. The photo exhibition will focus on how the Japanese introduced baseball to Palau before World War II to celebrate the deep relationship between the two countries.
The event will be held at the Asahi Baseball Stadium in Japan from Thursday, June 13, 2024 to Tuesday, June 18, 2024, during the first International Baseball Classic. The photo exhibition is free and open to the public, but since it will be held during a baseball game, we will abide by the rules of the Asahi Baseball Stadium in Japan, which is a ticket admission fee. The Embassy of Japan invites everyone to come and learn about the history between Japan and Palau.
