David Malumane, 32, was beaten by a buyer for selling fake chocolate at Dayizenza Complex in Bushbuckridge. Malumane was allegedly selling seeds covered in fake Ferraro Roshe chocolate.
According to sources, a buyer opened the chocolate and found Amarula seeds.
The buyer rushed back to confront the seller. When a crowd gathered, they discovered that all the chocolates were the same. Maluman was badly beaten. He is currently in hospital.
