(Press Release) Old Road Rum has won two silver medals at the prestigious 2024 International Spirits Challenge (ISC). The first silver medal was won in design& Packaging Award category New brand launchand the second one in taste Awards category 11 years and older.
The ISC is regarded by many as the most authoritative and comprehensive competition on the global drinks calendar, recognising excellence in craftsmanship and presentation. Winning these awards is an internationally recognised mark of quality and a testament to Old Road Rum’s dedication to innovation and craftsmanship.
The Design & Packaging Award recognises the Old Road Rum bottle design for its creativity, innovation and relevance to its target market. The judging panel, comprised of experts from the design and packaging industries, noted the bottle’s initial impact, originality and the compelling insights it generated during the evaluation process. “The Design & Packaging judging was once again a challenging and competitive process,” said Justin Smith, ISC Awards organiser. “The quality of the designs in each category produced compelling insights for the judging panel and I congratulate each of the winners.”
Meanwhile, the tasting awards are selected through ISC’s rigorous blind tasting process, which is judged by 75 global expert judges who only award medals to outstanding spirits. “Our globally recognized panel of expert judges only awards medals to outstanding spirits,” commented Smith. “Achieving any medal is a great achievement and a guarantee of quality. ISC continues to grow each year, and the brand brings in a wide variety of spirits from around the world, allowing us to reward truly outstanding products.”
