Is Hamilton a better driver than Sainz?

Seven-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton will replace Carlos Sainz at Ferrari at the start of the 2025 season. The Spaniard was very surprised by the Scuderia’s decision at the beginning of 2024, and the search for a new team took quite some time. For a long time, it was clear that he would drive for Williams until the suspension of racing in the early summer.

Speaking to the Spanish edition of GQ magazine, Sainz explained that he understood Ferrari’s choice to support Hamilton, but clarified that he did not think Lewis was the better driver.
