Muscat: At the closing ceremony of the School Beach Games Championship organized by the Oman School Sports Association, the Muscat Education Team defeated the North Batinah Education Team 2-0 in the final to win the beach handball championship. South Sharqiyah Education Team defeated the previous champion North Batinah Education Team 2-0 to win the beach volleyball championship.
Muscat, South Al Shaqiya win championships
In the third place match, Dhofar Education Team defeated South Batinah Education Team 2-0 and won the third place in the beach volleyball competition. In the beach handball competition, Dahilia Education Team defeated Dahila Education Team 2-0 and won the third place.
The closing ceremony was hosted by Dr. Salem bin Saeed bin Muslim al Maashani, Advisor to the Minister of Education on School Buildings. During the awards ceremony, the top three teams were recognized. The South Al Sharqiyah Education Team won the Champion Cup and the gold medal, the North Al Batinah Education Team won the Runner-up Cup and the silver medal, and the Dhofar Education Team won the third place and the bronze medal in the beach volleyball competition.
