The police headquarters has released a list of 44 policemen who were killed in violence during the quota reform movement.
The list was released by the media department of the police headquarters on Sunday (August 18).

According to the list released by the police headquarters, the dead include 21 constables, one Naik, seven ASIs, one ATSI, 11 SIs and three inspectors.
According to the headquarters, among those killed in the quota reform movement, 24 policemen were killed on August 5, 14 policemen were killed on August 4, and the remaining members were killed at different times.
The policemen killed included 14 from DMP police station, 15 from Enayetpur police station, two from Sonaimuri police station, two from Titas police station, one from Kachua police station, one from Baniachong police station, one from Dhaka SB, one from Narayanganj PBI, one from Tourist Police Headquarters, one from Comilla Highway Police Station, one from Kasba police station, one from Khulna Metropolitan Police, one from Ghazipur Metropolitan Police and two policemen from Dhaka district.
