Enea Bastianini had a rather dull race at the Austrian Grand Prix, finishing third behind Francesco Banaia and Jorge Martin, who were unable to fight for the top two spots.
A strong first kilometer gave Banaya his seventh win of the season
Zviala had a very strong start, rising from seventh on the grid to third in the first place. However, after that, he gradually fell behind the leader and easily outpaced the others, making his race quite boring.
After finishing the race, the Italian said he was happy with his third place as he had been having problems with the front of his bike since the morning warm-up. He also added that he tried to stay close to the leaders but that proved to be a difficult task for him.
“I think that the podium is in line with my expectations because I had problems with the front of the car in the morning and it happened during the race as well. But I was aggressive and I wanted to be with Peco and Jorge throughout the race, but it was difficult in this race. Third place would be good and I think that with every lap I improve I am always getting better, so I can be content,” said Bastianini.
