The Baltimore Ravens made several roster moves over the weekend, including signing former Memphis Tigers and CBHS receiver Anthony Miller, who was selected by the Chicago Bears in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft and has 140 catches in the regular season for 1,589 yards and 12 touchdowns in four seasons in the NFL.
Miller, 29, spent his first three seasons in Chicago, where he caught a career-high seven touchdown passes as a rookie. He followed that up with a career-high 52 catches for 656 yards in 2019. He also played in Houston and Pittsburgh in 2021, but then returned to the Steelers in 2022 and spent part of the 2023 season on the Indianapolis Colts’ practice squad.
He signed a reserve/future contract with Kansas City last January but was released by the Chiefs in early May. After playing football and track at CBHS, Miller played for the Memphis Tigers, hauling in 238 catches for 3,590 yards and 37 touchdowns in 38 games.
