UFC’s Robert Whittaker: ‘I believe I’m the most dangerous middleweight ever’

Israel Adesanya Will face Dericus du Plessis In the main activity UFC Tonight at 305, the goal is to regain the middleweight championship.

Adesanya, a two-time champion, is aiming to take the belt from du Plessis. The latter defended the title for the first timeit’s a grudge match in Perth.

The two will battle it out in Perth tonight for the middleweight title. In the co-main event, flyweights Steve Elseg and Kai Kara-France will clash in Australia and New Zealand.

Another Australian, Taffa, is also competing here, while Walker, the brother of light heavyweight boxer Johnny Walker, is representing Brazil.

Tafa starts well, lands some big punches. A great right hand. But Walker tries a high takedown, takes Tafa down, and finally gets a body lock on Tafa, forcing him to the fence.

Walker eventually got into Tafa’s defensive range, occasionally attacking from above.

Now, Walker tried to use a leg lock on his opponent after the fight… and got slapped! Was it a verbal slap? It’s hard to know; the fight ended with both men tumbling!

Replays and the official ruling indicated it was a verbal tap, although Tafa also appeared to have half-tapped with his hand…

Curry hits the body with a front kick. Then a hard jab. Ramos hits the body with a left hook, then a knee. Curry hits the Brazilian to the body several times with an uppercut.

Ramos hits with a right hook, and Curry is hit around his left eye! Ramos also locks his opponent with his body just right.

Koulibaio will surely regret not injuring Ramos’ leg further. He could have finished the game tonight.

O’Neal is now kicking cleanly. Santos stumbles, but O’Neal reacts quickly and blocks the ball back! What a great counterattack!

O’Neill attempted a rear-naked choke, alternating between submission attempts and body shots.

The second round began with Santos locking her opponent in a body lock and then deftly tripping him, allowing O’Neill to kneel against the fence.

O’Neill quickly gets to her feet, but Santos is still backing her up. O’Neill lands some good punches, and she then tries her own wrestling moves before the flyweights separate and head into open territory.

O’Neill jabs, but the right cross that follows misses. Santos is now in the right position… but not for long.

O’Neill ducks a one-two combo and locks in a body lock. He drives Santos against the fence with knees and elbows. Santos circles to avoid it.
