Memphis 901 FC collects over 2,500 items for donation at United Way school supply drive

In July, Memphis 901 FC partnered with the United Way of the Mid-South for the “Stuff the Bus” campaign, benefiting Memphis-Shelby County students entering the 2024-25 school year.

901 FC raised more than 2,500 items for donation to the United Way at the Stuff the Bus event at AutoZone Park prior to its July 27 home game, and the organization received 126,251 school supplies valued at $1,660,553.94.

“Our partnership with 901 FC has been outstanding. The organization’s commitment to serving the Mid-South region aligns perfectly with the mission of United Way of the Mid-South,” said Shamikia Adkins, United Way’s Community Engagement Manager.

“901 FC helps us engage soccer fans, inviting them to enjoy their love of the sport while giving back to the community. This harmonious combination of sports and service amplifies our impact on the community, and we look forward to continuing our partnership in the years to come.”

Memphis 901 FC will return to AutoZone Park this Saturday (August 17) to take on Tulsa FC.

The 901 Soccer Club collected more than 2,500 item donations for its “Stuff the Bus” event at AutoZone Park prior to its July 27 home game to be delivered to the United Way, which received 126,251 school supplies totaling $1,660,553.94.

Stuff the Bus School is one of 901 FC’s many community-based partnerships this year.
