Veteran Jamaican educator and actor Ronald Goshop has died at the age of 72. The actor was reportedly found unconscious at his home on Wednesday morning.

Goshop became famous in the early 90s for his role in the hit TV series Mackie Royal Palm EstateThe character, known for his wit and charm, became a household name across the island, cementing Goshop’s place in Jamaican television history. His work on Royal Palms was praised for its authenticity and depth, earning him acclaim and a loyal fan base.

He also starred Mighty Quinn.
