Dancehall music star Vybz Kartel will perform in Jamaica on December 31, 2024. This will be his first performance after being released from prison last month after 13 years.
Downsound Entertainment’s Cordel ‘Skatta’ Burrell broke the news on social media on Friday, revealing that Kartel and Downsound boss Josef Bogdanovich were signing the deal.
The exact location of the much-anticipated concert has not yet been revealed.
Khattel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, was released from Tower Street Adult Correctional Facility on July 31 after the Court of Appeal ruled not to retry Khattel and his three co-accused for murder after the Privy Council quashed their convictions. (Jamaica Observer)
