People in Panevěž are already looking forward to interesting shows and events next Monday.
On August 19, the photographer invites photography enthusiasts to celebrate World Photography Day in Panevěž.
The celebrations, now being held for the eighth time, will kick off with the traditional photographers’ parade at Lesvignes Square and continue throughout the day in several cultural and artistic spaces of the city.

12:00pm Parade with the brass band “Garsas” on Laisvė Square
12:30 Opening of the exhibition “Monophonic Performance in Different Ways” by Violeta Bubelytė at “XX Gallery”
13:30 Opening of the Arvydas Gudas exhibition at the Gabrielė Petkevičaitė-Bite Public Library in Panevėžys County
In the art gallery space
14:00 Virginijas Kinčinaitis’s lecture “War Photography as Tourism”
15:00 Presentation of Danutė Augustinienė’s exhibition “Exits…Returns”.
17:00 Audrius Balčėtis introduces the book
18:00 Film “The 19th Century. The Photographer’s Legacy”
