In a notice published on the X social media platform, it was announced that the preparatory meeting of the Turkish-Iraqi Joint Planning Group was held in Ankara.

The meeting was chaired by Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Nuh Yilmaz and Iraqi Deputy Foreign Minister Mohammad Hussein Barul Uloom.

In the message; the meeting discussed the implementation stages of the signed agreements, the activities of the permanent groups of the alliance and the priority areas of cooperation in building relations between the two countries,” the message said.

Diplomatic sources said that the fourth meeting of the Turkish-Iranian high-level security mechanism will be held in Ankara today, and the first meeting of the Joint Planning Committee, which will be held on the occasion of the visit of the Iraqi delegation to Turkey, will discuss with others. He announced that the meeting will be held today in Ankara and will be led by Hakan Fidan and Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein.
