UPDATE: Bank CEO Vittoria Shortt has responded to her “unusual” pay of $5.2 million this year.

UPDATE: ASB Bank says its chief executive, Vittoria Shortt, has received a significant pay rise to A$4.7 million ($5.2 million) due to “anomalies” in changes to its pay structure over the past few years.

She received A$1.9 million the year before.
