The State Department announced the outcome of the meeting between six different ministers in a letter.

In addition to Luc Frieden, Xavier Bettel, Claude Meisch, Max Hahn, Gilles Rose and Martin Despres were also present at Tuesday’s meeting.

At this meeting they received the report of the Special Committee, which, at a meeting August 6 People must address these issues before meeting with Caritas representatives to discuss them.

In the process, the six ministers also decided that, under various conditions, the funds could be transferred again to different Caritas entities if they were not affected by the transfer of funds and had not yet applied for a credit line.

This work will continue throughout August, both at the government level and by a follow-up committee composed of senior officials. In this way, we hope to ensure that Caritas can once again take up the task entrusted to it by the State and reach the most vulnerable groups in the country.
