One alleged victim promised that every penny of any judgment would go to sexual assault victims. Their bad habits are just Permanently published in the New York Times and New York Magazine.

Multiple women filed lawsuits alleging rape and bad behavior. One victim’s husband even received a subpoena.

It could be that — people familiar with the situation say — what’s emerging now is additional circumstances. Harassment. A strange man showed up at the home of an alleged victim and knocked on the door at night. Family members were harassed. Others were subpoenaed.

The lawyers demanded that this harassment stop. It was clear that this behavior was intended to intimidate the victim’s family. Some people tell you: “It’s about being more present and grateful. Your younger self will learn from your older self.” Yeah, okay, that’s great, but who among us knows someone who does nothing but pick mushrooms?

This old “goofball”—not mine, the movie’s—is due to hit theaters September 13.

So the producer offered a once famous movie star the role of a lying, cheating, wandering prostitute. And he asked, “What do you think of this part?” She said, “Come on – it’s the first decent part I’ve gotten in years.”
