Complete the game in Challenge Mode

The story missions in Zenless Zone Zero are pretty easy, even by gacha game standards. Most of them can be easily completed with a team of A-rank characters if you level them up a bit and give them the right gear. To make the story a little less easy, try completing the missions in Challenge Mode. It doesn’t make the game incredibly difficult, but it makes the battles a little more intense.

Don’t forget to eat some snacks before homework

In Zenless Zone Zero, before each mission, you can eat at the Noodle Shop to get various rewards for the whole team. General Chop’s shop is located directly across from the main character’s shop on Sixth Street.

Daily coffee and lucky tickets

After you open a coffee shop on Sixth Street, you can go there to increase your daily energy limit by 60 units. It works exactly the same as in Genshin Impact or Star Rail: this resource is needed to perform various activities. Also, don’t forget to go to Hal’s newsstand every day to pick up a lucky ticket – it will bring a small but pleasant reward.

Focus on one element or faction

Zenless Zone Zero is a game where team composition is extremely important. In fact, each character has an additional ability that is activated only when there is another hero of the same faction or element in the team. Therefore, when going on a mission, it is worth choosing members of the same faction or characters belonging to the same element. Certain damage types and factions may not offer many options yet, but they will become more available in the future as the character roster expands.

How to make money by running a video rental store

Despite their shady directing jobs, the protagonists of Zenless Zone Zero also run a small video rental store – apparently, there is no streaming platform in the new Elliott. To get started in the store, talk to the half at the counter and choose a promoter and movie that matches the genre. At first, the store won’t bring in a lot of money, but as you meet customer requests and find new tapes and promoters, the video rental store can be upgraded nicely.

Banbu are small robot rabbits that accompany Agents during cave exploration. Essentially, they serve as combat partners that not only attack enemies but also help with a range of abilities. After completing Cave Zero for the first time, the half-cloth mechanic becomes available. You will be able to upgrade them and get new half-cloths using coupons – there is a separate banner in the Gacha system. But it is worth noting that these coupons cannot be purchased with real money: they can only be earned in the game.
