San Marcos– The Bulls coach analyzed El Trebol’s game.
Roberto Hernández Ayala was satisfied with the goalless draw with Municipal as the visiting team, as it allowed Malacateco to get its first point. The coach made it clear that he took the opportunity to adopt an approach that took advantage of the wear and tear brought by the opponent, and that although there was no win, equality was important.
“We came to a complex pitch, we knew the greatness of the Municipal team, they are the current champions and we had to play against them, we planned well defensively but we also tried to cause damage on the counter-attack,” he began.

“Football is sometimes strange, moments can change overnight, it’s volatile, the municipal team, we haven’t won yet, that’s why we went to the capital with the aim of defending ourselves as a group, we did well, but we failed to attack,” he added.
Speaking about the feeling of getting a point on this visit, he said: “Somehow we took advantage of the wear and tear of the municipality and that was enough for us to add a valuable point on a complex pitch, we were calm and never thought about losing or drawing, but there are some games ‘they can’t win.
“We started badly with the defeat at home and that hurt us a lot but we had to recover and this time we showed order, we showed it with a good performance but it’s only the beginning,” he concluded.
The Bulls will now focus on another road game as they take on Xelaju MC at the Mario Camposeco Stadium on Saturday.
