RTHK and Indonesia’s RRI celebrate cultural exchange at Victoria Park
RTHK and Indonesia’s RRI jointly organized “RTHK Summer POP UP” on August 11, 2024 at Victoria Park, featuring live performances by local and Indonesian artists such as Nabilla Gomes and Lagchun.
The event, held to celebrate Indonesia’s Independence Day, aims to strengthen Hong Kong’s ties with Indonesia under China’s Belt and Road Initiative.
RTHK’s Eddie Cheung highlighted the event as a symbol of Hong Kong’s inclusiveness, while Indonesian Consul General Edison Yu stressed the role of the media in fostering connections and dispelling stereotypes
