From April 1, 2023, natural and legal persons who install renewable energy equipment with a capacity of up to 100 kW will be subject to property tax and land tax on the land they occupy (Article 428 of the Tax Code) as well as profit tax from the sale of the produced energy. release.

In particular, those who install and use QTEM equipment with a total capacity not exceeding 100 kW are exempted from paying the following taxes for 3 years from the date of commissioning:
- On these devices – a tax on the property of legal entities, a tax on the land occupied by individual devices – a land tax levied on legal entities, a profit tax on the profits from the sale of electricity to the public network
- Personal property tax and personal land tax on the immovable property of housing provident funds (before that – only on the part occupied by the equipment)
The tax credit provided for in this provision shall apply if the facility is equipped with an electric energy storage system that provides not less than 25% of the power of the installed solar panels, for a period of ten years from the date of their commissioning.
Each subject can enjoy the benefit once when an individual installs QTEM equipment with a total capacity exceeding 1 kW.
In this case, the amount of the annual tax benefit for personal property tax may not exceed twice the BHM (680 thousand soums), and the amount of the annual tax benefit for personal land tax may not exceed BHM (340 thousand soums).
However, these changes have yet to be implemented Tax Law It is not included and therefore cannot be used in practice.
The President also instructed the management of the economic complex (under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Kochkarov) to expand the possibilities for residents and entrepreneurs to purchase energy-saving devices and solar cells.
