Three countries account for more than half of EU potato production

Eurostat announced that EU potato production in 2023 would be 48.3 million tonnes, a slight increase from 47.5 million tonnes in 2022.

But they point out that this is a long-term decline, so last year’s production was 27.9 million tons lower than in 2000, equivalent to a drop of 36.7%.
