Ivan Anusić, Vice President of the Government of the Republic of Croatia and Minister of Defense, said on Monday in Osijek that he will continue to work on providing political, economic and any other assistance to Croats outside Croatia, including in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as Vojvodina and Montenegro.

“This is our people and we must instill in us this responsibility to help,” Anusić said at a meeting of the Archdiocese Foundation of Vrbosna. He participated in the meeting as an honorary member of the Administrative Council and confirmed that the Osijek-Baranja County is also ready to continue deepening this cooperation, RTV Prince of Bosnia reported.

He stressed that he would focus on development projects, i.e. projects that provide added value to Croatians outside Croatia, including those living in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Croatia reported.

The Archdiocese of Vr-Bosnia Foundation is dedicated to humanitarian activities for the welfare of the elderly, children and young people, as well as projects of the Archdiocese of Croatia and Vr-Bosnia.

It was founded in February 2020 and is headquartered in Vukovar.

In addition to Minister Anusić, the meeting was attended by the Vice President of the Government of the Republic of Croatia, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Josip Dabro, Acting County Governor of Osijek-Baranja County Mato Lukić and his colleagues, as well as Croatian Archbishop Vrhbosna and Metropolitan Mons. Tomo Vukšić.
