He gave his closing remarks for the last time. “Paris 2024 is the Olympics of a new era,” said the 70-year-old, thanking the hosts. «Dear French friends, you have fallen in love with the Olympic Games. The celebrations followed the theme of the opening ceremony and began at the Louvre’s Tuileries Palace, where swimming superstar Leon Marchand boarded the Olympic flame.
