Kuwait City, August 11: A support patrol of the Al Jahra Security Directorate arrested 25 suspects of violating the residency law in the industrial area and Mutla, who were subsequently sent to the deportation prison.
Authorities set up several security checkpoints in industrial areas, Mutla and other locations where workers gather, where they conduct document checks. Some of them were found working in garages, in violation of Article 20 (domestic workers), while others were working in the contracting and construction industries in Mutla city, despite having expired their residency for nearly a decade.
Authorities fingerprinted and reported the violators before sending them to a deportation prison. They will now be deported and permanently banned from entering Kuwait again.
