“Our coaches knew each other and organised a tryout for us in Austria. Nora came to me from Switzerland and we rehearsed for a week and we bonded very quickly.” – explains the athlete, and we also asked what his partner said when he told him that he wanted them to play in Hungarian colors.

When Mózes Berei was a young boy he promised his grandfather to return to Hungary and from that time on he felt that this was his mission.
“Nora was open to Hungarian culture, and I tried to introduce her to everything, important or not. For example, on August 20 last year, we watched the fireworks at the Fisherman’s Bastion, took a boat trip on the Danube, and in Esztergom, we visited the cathedral together.” the skater added.

Experts spent weeks designing the costume for Nora Rothenbühler and Mózes Berei. The team included Matyó Folk Art Association master Papp Bernadett, textile model designer Andrea Dormán and graphic designer Pál Gergely. The costume is decorated with thousands of crystals, which were applied to the textile by crystal decorator Dia Deák.
“Back to the music, we were already looking for music for the competition in early March and it was clear to me that I wanted Hungarian folk music that would make the hearts of Hungarian audiences beat faster in February 2025, at the Junior World Championships.
