“We are on track to reach 60 million tourists and $60 billion in revenue,” Minister Ersoy said. “God willing, we will go further,” he said.
Minister Ersoy stressed that Turkey has the strongest and most effective promotional campaign in the tourism sector; “We are actively cooperating with national television stations in 36 countries,” he said.
Mohammad Nuri Ersoy said the number of tourists from countries in the Persian Gulf region was equivalent to 5% of the total number of tourists; “Tourists from coastal countries are the highest-earning tourists,” he said.
