The General Directorate of the Mint and Stamp Printing Plant said that the production of gold and gram gold in the Republic will not stop.
The Mint issued a statement saying that some media outlets had published unfounded news that “production of quarter and gram gold coins had ceased”.
The statement emphasized that Republic Gold and Gram Gold will not stop production, and made the following statement:
– There is no change in the production of 22 carat Republic gold coins (quarter, half, full and similar) produced by the Mint. Printed gold (known as gram gold in the market) will continue to be produced in 24 carats, with a minimum of 1 gram and a maximum of 100 grams, by refineries that have obtained the Ministry’s establishment/production license. In this context, any news with manipulative content that has not been verified by its source should not be relied upon.
