This was informed by Hasnat Abdullah, coordinator of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, in a message sent on Saturday (August 10) afternoon.
Sources said that the newly appointed acting judge Ashfaqur Islam is a friend of fascism and is rejected by students and citizens. Syed Rifat Ahmed should be appointed as the Chief Justice immediately before 6 pm.
All student citizens of Dhaka were reportedly called to march at the Education Square in front of the High Court.
