Early voting for the August 20 primary election will begin on Saturday, August 10. Voters registered to vote before July 22, 2024 are eligible to vote early.
Here are helpful reminders on how to prepare for early voting:
- Twenty-eight (28) Early Voting Locations Conveniently located throughout Broward County, they are open from Saturday, August 10th to Sunday, August 18th. Visit our website Broward Voting Network (or attached .pdf) for a complete list of early voting locations.
- Early voting hours The time is from 10 am to 7 pm.
- Eligible Broward County Voters You can go to any early voting location to vote.
- Secure ballot acceptance drop boxes All early voting stations have mail-in ballot boxes for voters to drop off their mail-in ballots.
- Voters with disabilities Voting may be conducted using the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) machines located at each early voting location.

Broward County Supervisor of Elections Joe Scott encourages all eligible voters to take advantage of early voting opportunities. “Early voting is a great opportunity for voters to cast their ballots at a time and location that is most convenient for them. We are making voting as convenient and safe as possible to ensure everyone can participate in the democratic process. I urge all eligible voters to take advantage of this time and make sure their voices are heard. Don’t forget to bring a friend or family member with you when you vote early.”
