According to the Military Meteorological Bureau, the country is expected to be affected by a hot air mass over the weekend, with stable atmospheric conditions.
This is thanks to the influence of the Azores anticyclone and thermals coming from northern Africa.
Clear weather is expected with plenty of sunshine but some brief cloud over the high mountain terrain mainly in the south of the country.
The wind will blow from the northwest-northeast direction with a speed of 2-8 m/s, while on Saturday mainly along the coastline (annoying for vacationers), in valleys, the wind speed will reach 10-13 m/s, accompanied by strong waves 1-3 sides.
