Experienced goalkeeper and former national team player Willy Ramirez has joined the coaching staff of the Futsal National Team.
Coach Eduardo Zancudo Estrada will now work with Ramirez, who will be in charge of preparing the goalkeeper for the 2024 World Cup in Uzbekistan.

“I have always wanted to contribute to the national team. Now I am on the coaching staff as a goalkeeper coach. I hope to contribute my experience and play a good role in the next World Cup,” Ramirez said.
Guatemala will compete in its sixth World Cup, this time in Uzbekistan, where it will face opponents from Iran, Venezuela and France in September in the town of Bukhara, one of the largest and most historic cities to host the tournament.
