Jamaica failed to qualify for the men’s 4x100m final for the first time in 20 years.

Her athletes performed poorly, making mistakes in the first two relay handoffs and an even more serious mistake in the last handoff, ultimately finishing in fourth place in the semifinals.

The team was without the injured Oubrek Sevilla, but Keishan Thompson also didn’t do much at shortstop.

Jamaica has faced increasing problems in the sport since Usain Bolt left the sport after the Rio Olympics in 2016. Jamaica sent 54 athletes to the 2024 Paris Olympics, including 58.
