“The situation may develop to the point where none of our countries will be able to cope with it without unity, and if we do not understand this today, they will deal with us individually, but if Russia collapses, we will all be drawn into this funnel,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
Lukashenko said at a meeting of internal affairs ministers of the CIS member states that against the backdrop of the war in Ukraine, many leaders and security officials began to seek benefits for themselves.
“Based on my experience, I would say that life is now precarious, changing a lot, and many people are looking for benefits, including getting away from the common development trends created in the Soviet era, because of it. They are afraid of sanctions,” the Belarusian dictator added.
