Metro TV signs Memorandum of Understanding with Monash University, Indonesia
Indonesia’s Metro TV and Monash University have reached an agreement through a Memorandum of Understanding (UM) to promote information exchange, education and research among human resources of both parties.
The MoU also aims to expand the knowledge of the academic, research community and journals on current issues such as data security in Indonesia for the benefit of the public.
The MoU was signed by the leaders of both organizations, including Media Group Network CEO M. Mirdal Akib, Metro TV President Arief Suditomo, and Monash University Indonesia President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Matthew Nicholson and COO and Vice-President (Operations and Enterprise) Tantia Dian Permata Indah.
Deputy Editor Aries Fadhillah and Head of Corporate Communications Fifi Aleyda Yahya from Metro TV were also present.
Tantia Dian Permata Indah said Monash University Indonesia will provide resource personnel, while Metro TV will provide a platform for the two institutions to jointly spread education in Indonesia.
“And this kind of education is cross-departmental, cross-disciplinary, and of course cross-media. We hope that through this cooperation, we can further spread the spirit of education in Indonesia,” said Tantia.
