In a Texas city, the finishing touches are being put on a brand new residential complex of a hundred houses. There are some construction workers on the Wolf Ranch site, but most of the work is being done by Vulcan.
The 4-ton, 14-meter-long 3D printer began printing the first wall in November 2022 and will print the final layer in late summer. In the meantime, the first residents have moved into the completed printed house. “It’s like a fortress,” said Lawrence Nourzad (32). “Although the thick concrete walls do cause problems with the WiFi.”
