Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law banning the sale of non-alcoholic tonic beverages, including energy drinks, to minors. The corresponding document was published on Thursday, August 8 on the official legal information portal.
The sale of energy drinks would be regulated in a similar way to the sale of alcohol – that is, if there is any doubt about the buyer’s age, the seller would be required to ask for the buyer’s passport.
