The Zlinski players travel to Plovdiv, where the first match of the third qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League awaits them on Thursday.

The Nobles’ opponent will be the Botev team from Bulgaria.

“We are focused on Botev and we have already analyzed them. This is a high-quality team with a lot of good players, especially in terms of strikers. We have recognized their most dangerous situations and I hope that we will be able to eliminate them through our tactical training sessions in preparation for the match,” said Mario Ivankovic, head of the Zielinski coaching staff, adding:

“The stadium will be full, there will be a good atmosphere and it’s important that we ‘show our teeth’ in the first 20 minutes. If we do that, it will definitely be easier for us. We have a lot of players who have been playing in European competitions over the last few years and we are not in a losing position from that point of view and we shouldn’t succumb to pressure.”

If Zlinski gets past Mostar and into the final hurdle of the La Liga group stage, Botev, they will be better than Zurich and Viktoria.
