Russia fired three guided bombs at the northeastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv, injuring at least six people and damaging houses, local officials said. Russia announced on Monday it had taken control of a village in the eastern Ukrainian Donetsk region.
Ukrainian President Zelensky confirmed on the same day that the situation on the entire front line in the Donetsk region was “the most difficult.”
Politically, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Berlin to attend a conference on Ukraine’s reconstruction and meet with German Chancellor Schulz.
Zelensky announced on the “X” platform that in addition to the joint production of weapons, the discussions also involved continued defense support and the expansion of air defense range.
Meanwhile, Germany has allowed Ukraine to use its weapons to attack targets inside Russia as part of increased support from Western countries.
