Sources revealed that the reason for the removal was that Rotana Audio submitted documents to YouTube management proving that it has the exclusive rights to publish all the songs of the Egyptian artist and does not have the right to publish any work without mentioning them. Sources said that YouTube management deleted the two songs until the dispute between them is resolved or when Sherine Abdel Wahab submits documents proving the contrary.

Sources indicate that Sherine Abdel Wahab’s lawyer, Counselor Yasser Kantoush, will submit a formal report to the prosecutor today against Rotana. He will also submit the necessary documents to YouTube management to prove the termination of the artist’s contract with Rotana, as this led to the removal of two songs.

The crisis of Sherine Abdel Wahab with the “Rotana” audio and video company escalated yesterday evening when she released two new songs through the channel launched on Tuesday on the “YouTube” platform.

Sherine revealed two songs: “I Wish I Forgot You” and “The One Who Meets My Love”, warning Rotana not to delete them.

The Egyptian singer confirmed to local sources that she will demand a huge compensation of no less than $100 million if Rotana removes the new songs.

Sherin accused Rotana of trying to monopolize the live concert sector because her revenue was greater, stressing that this was not stipulated in the contract signed between the two parties.
