WSBP wins new contract for Microsoft data center construction project

JAKARTA (ANTARA) – PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (Stock Code: WSBP) has once again expanded its business portfolio to provide the supply for the JKT11 Data Center Main Works Project (or more commonly known as the Microsoft Data Center) in Cikarang, West Java. The contract was signed on June 14, 2024 and is owned by JO. Shimizu-Total JKT11 Data Center Main Works.

For this project, WSBP will produce a total of 1,800 rotary pile bars, including 250 D600 C0 B 12 PC WIRE 9 mm rotary pile bars, 250 D600 C0 M 12 PC WIRE 9 mm rotary pile bars, 650 D600 C0 B 12 PC WIRE 7 mm rotary pile bars, 546 D600 C0 B 12 PC WIRE 7 mm rotary pile bars, and 104 D600 C0 M 8 PC WIRE 7 mm rotary pile bars.

“Rotary bored piles are one of WSBP’s premium products, and WSBP is able to produce the longest rotary bored piles in Indonesia and Southeast Asia, which are 1.2 meters in diameter and 50 meters in length. Providing the best products to all our customers is our effort to earn customer satisfaction,” said Fandy Dewanto, Vice President of WSBP Corporate Secretary.

The project started on June 15, 2024 and is expected to be completed on September 30, 2024. The contract signing was conducted by two representatives of the main works of JO. Shimizu-Total JKT11 Data Center, namely Aoi Atsushi, Deputy General Manager of Shimizu Corporation and Arwan Sutarman, Project Manager of PT Total Bangun Persada Tbk. Representatives of WSBP included Sena Eka Hanafi, Vice President of Sales of WSBP, and Bernadus Kusumadanu, Sales Manager of WSBP Region 2.

The project is an important step for WSBP to strengthen its position in the exterior construction market. “We not only pursue the best quality, but also ensure that the production and delivery process can be carried out on time, which becomes the basis for us to obtain more exterior projects,” said Fan Di.
