Kayitare Jacqueline, the Rwandan Patriotic Front chairperson in Muhanga district, campaigns for Paul Kagame with residents of Kibangu district.
They announced this during a campaign for RPF Inkotanyi candidates and RPF Inkotanyi community representatives in Kibangu area of Muhanga District, stating that they have established self-help groups as well as going to the international market for artifacts.
Dusabe Marie Jeanne said she and her widowed friends were reduced to despair because of Paul Kagame, but the leadership of the RPF Inkotani allowed them to unite the forces hidden in their own backyard.
He said: “We joined forces to unite nations, we were 15 widows, the Dutch ambassador visited us and we revealed the power hidden in our backyard. Now we are 45 women, we know how to shoot a basketball, we sleep well, each of us has a pig to help us develop, Kagame does not have that.”

Dusabe Marie Jeanne said today they have markets in America, where they sell woven baskets and use technology to work with customers.
He said: “At the age of 60, I have a modern smartphone that helps me place orders in Kibangu, then sell them in the United States and the money goes through the account. Now I know how to talk to white people in English and French and give them what they need, and my friends and I can make money and be happy.”
He added: “I thought because I am disabled I would not be able to climb the mountains but now I am fine without any problems, my children are fine too, I got the Jilinka and other animals. I lost someone who I thought would never live but today we have someone who cares for us, Paul Kagame”.
Women in Kibangu district say that communal living gives them the strength to work hard and develop themselves.
When running for parliament, the RPF parliamentary candidate promised to continue to speak up for women, especially vulnerable women, so that they can continue to have a voice, be confident and work hard to improve themselves.
