A 20-year-old woman punched an intruder in the face as he tried to rape her. She saw an opportunity to run for help. The suspect then left the scene with the stolen goods.
An unarmed, unmasked man forced open the front door of the Bombay Street home. The woman was in her bedroom. The perpetrator locked her in another room and trashed the house.
The intruder stole gold and silver jewelry. And mobile phones. He then opened the bedroom where he locked the victim inside. He tried to rape her but the woman punched him in the face and ran out of the house. Police are investigating.
