Kluge also celebrated the recent signing of the National Pact on Quality, Efficiency and Sustainability of Health Systems.

“Andorra has something to teach,” said Dr. Hans Kluge, Regional Director for Europe of the World Health Organization (WHO), at the end of a meeting with the Minister of Health, Helena Mas, and other representatives of the Ministry, noting in particular the work being done in the field of mental health and the design of the Integrated Programme on Mental Health and Addiction (Pisma). In this sense, Kluge sat down to focus on mental health and, after noting that 14% of 15-year-old boys and 28% of girls of the same age say they always or almost always feel lonely, he stressed that “it is very important that Andorra has an international mental health programme” and congratulated Mas for her “leadership” in the development of tools and guidelines to improve this health within the Pan-European Alliance for Mental Health.

Kluge also celebrated the recent signing of the National Pact on Quality, Efficiency and Sustainability of Health Systems.
