Thus, the national company becomes the main shirt sponsor of the National 2 club, which is certainly not as prestigious as Paris Saint-Germain or the English club Arsenal, one of the latter’s secondary sponsors is the structure responsible for the promotion of tourism in Rwanda, but this partnership allows the intrusion of a Senegalese company into French football, while perhaps waiting for other initiatives with more exclusive clubs.

Please note that Sadio Mané has officially been the company’s ambassador since June 9th.

As a reminder, this is not the first time that a Senegalese celebrity has invested in or assumed responsibility for the management of a French club. Among them, we can cite Pape Diouf, former president of Marseille, Said Fakhri, former owner of the Cannes Film Festival and former president of the Senegalese Football Federation, Adnan Houdroug, a shareholder of AS Monaco and a big supporter of Djallaf, or, more recently, Elimane Lam, a shareholder of Valenciennes.

This economic relationship between Senegalese and French football is also reflected in the partnerships between Senegalese training academies and French clubs, the most representative of which is the combination of Génération football team with Metz football club. This alliance has made it possible in particular to have pillars of the national team such as Sadio Mané, Ismaila Sarr, Papu Matar Sarr, Habib Diallo, Lamine Camara, etc.
