WhatsApp has added a useful option that helps you sort all your messages. Users can now add group chats and private conversations to their favorites. This was reported on the official WhatsApp blog.
Favorites are divided into two sections: “Chats” and “Calls”. Secondly, you can add contacts you frequently call so that you can quickly contact someone without having to search for a contact in the address book for a long time. In the “Chats” section, you can select the most useful conversations or group conversations, filtering out spam and a bunch of correspondence with unimportant people.
Favorites appear next to the All and Unread folders at the top of the screen.
How to add to favorites on WhatsApp
- In the Chat section, apply the Favorites filter and select a contact or group.
- On the Calls tab, tap Add to Favorites, and then select a contact or group.
- To manage your Favorites list, go to Settings > Favorites > Add to Favorites. The order of contacts and groups can be changed at any time.
“We are starting to roll out this feature today and will be available to all users in the coming weeks,” WhatsApp developers said.
