What you choose for me is what you do – Paul Kagame

He announced this in Huye District during a meeting with activists from Huye, Gisagala and Nyanza Districts, saying it seemed the elections had taken place compared to the participation of those who came to support him but only the date elections were over while other activities were still going on.

In promoting the RPF candidate, Paul Kagame met those who came to support him in a way that he understood and spoke to them according to their feelings, showing how they supported him.

The basis of Kagame’s presidency is the country’s and the region’s bad history that caused some Rwandans to leave their homeland and become refugees.

He said: “This issue is completely resolved, it is solved, you and I are together with many people here, even if they were not born yet, we are together because the place where you were born and where you grew up with us will not come back, because your vote for the RPF and its candidates means that the bad history will not repeat, will not repeat, will not repeat”.

He said that if there are good policies, the construction progress will be faster, and safety depends on it. We must take good care of it and continue it without interruption of policies and progress.

When he asked which candidate they would vote for, people shouted that he was that person, and he added: “I agree, my job is easy because you voted for me and that’s what you do. My job is to keep moving forward and work together and build our country and progress will always come over time.”

He added, “The date is coming up soon and we are looking forward to tomorrow and where you are planning to go, I see that the voting has already ended, so the postponement means that the work is going on and we are entering into the construction work”.

He said that wherever he campaigned, young people showed confidence and he was not a weakling, which meant his supporters were all the same and that was all he saw from the participation.

IPPF candidate Paul Kagame thanked all Rwandans who continue to support him and he also thanked those political groups that decided to ally with IPPF because good cooperation builds the nation.
