For a few years now, Ogilvy MENA has run an initiative called “What’s Cookin’”.
“What’s Cookin'” brings teams together to prepare iftar for a good cause during Ramadan, and its principle is simple: cook together and share a meal with the less privileged.
While each office has its own formula, the common goal is to provide some comfort and support to those in need.
In 2022, the Tunisian agency collaborated with the Mille et Une Saveurs workshop in Tunis to help sub-Saharan refugees. This year, the team travelled to Ras Jebel in Darema to prepare several meals in collaboration with the Red Crescent. The food was then distributed by the local Red Crescent team to people at risk. This initiative not only allowed us to share a moment of joy, but more importantly, promoted the values of generosity and solidarity.
