According to Al Jazeera, Israel’s escalation continues across the West Bank. At dawn on Tuesday, Israeli occupation forces attacked the Jarazzone refugee camp north of Ramallah and fired live ammunition at Palestinian vehicles during an incursion into the town of Sinjir, north of the city.
Israeli forces also raided the town of Naharin, west of Bethlehem, forcing shopkeepers in the town centre to close their stores and detaining several young men after searching their vehicles.
According to official Palestinian sources, since the outbreak of genocide in Gaza on October 7, military operations in the West Bank have continued to escalate and settler attacks on Palestinians have increased unprecedentedly, resulting in the killing of 604 Palestinians and about 5,400 injuries in different areas of the West Bank.
